THE RETURNS MUSEUM

In the past, I worked a side job at a sunglasses webshop, where one of my tasks in the warehouse was processing returns. Most customers sent back their sunglasses neatly packed in the original shipping box. But every now and then, a truly unique return would show up. Customers who had already discarded the original box improvised, repurposing everyday household packaging into makeshift shipping boxes. These creative solutions became vessels for their designer sunglasses on their journey back to the warehouse. Every time I unwrapped yet another unusual box, it brought a smile to my face. I started keeping the most remarkable examples, which eventually grew into a (photographic) collection: The Returns Museum.
